Brilliant Kitchen Hack: How to Seal a Jar … With a Balloon

I have an abundance of mason jars in my house (please don’t judge me!) because they are truly fantastic! I use them in my kitchen for storing food and beverages, as well as for numerous craft projects. They work perfectly for creating cakes and desserts in a jar, and I often customize them to my liking.

Truth be told, I’ve grown quite fond of these jars, even the ones that remain undecorated. So, it was quite disheartening when one of the jar lids went missing while I was busy working in the kitchen last week. Wouldn’t you know it, I needed to preserve something at that very moment?

Sure, I could have used another jar, but all my other jars were occupied and I just wanted to seal the jar quickly and get on with my day. I needed a solution to seal my jar without the lid!

I didn’t have high hopes when I searched online, but then I stumbled upon the perfect solution – sealing a jar with a balloon!

It’s truly amazing, isn’t it? Who would have thought of using a balloon for this purpose? I gave it a try, and it turned out to be surprisingly easy, just as the video demonstrates. My jar was sealed tightly, providing me with enough time to figure out which other jar I could use for the immediate purpose. This trick saved me a headache, and I sincerely hope it proves helpful to you as well!
